Network Problem

I've a PC on a home network that fails to respond to ping requests, however if I go on that computer, it can ping all the other PC's on the network, and can use computer brwoser to access network shares. none of the other PC's can see the non-responsive PC. It has no firewall running on it at present.

Any suggestions as to how to get that PC to show up on the network?

Only real thing that affects ping replys is firewall (hardware or software).

Make sure you have the XP firewall turned off, if its off then default all the settings and disable it again.
