Hey...
Anyone have any ideas why that when I am trying to plug a RJ-45 cable from a laptop to a PC the connection constantly tells me that it is unplugged on the laptop, though the server PC tells me that it is connected fine
I am running windows XP SP2, and I am trying to use ICS between the 2 computers, using the main computer as a server. I have 2 network connections on the computer using the motherboards own network connections (its a A7N8X). I have the Nvidia one for the xbox360 which connects perfectly, and the other network connection on the motherboard is connected directly to the laptop.
I have the cable modem on a USB connection, the one that is giving me trouble is the network connection named "1394 network adapater" .
I am tryiing to setup a cheap network for a friend so thought this was the best idea.
Anyone have any other ideas?
