Network Q Rally on DOSBOX

Hi,

Trying to get this up and running but absolutely no luck at all on windows or mac.

I have mounted drives properly, installed the game, when i type ral.exe to run it loads a few lines then just fires me back to the C:\ prompt. Any ideas why this would be happening?

I have tried compatibility mode on Windows 7 x64 but no luck. Never used DOSBOX before but I must be missing something.

Anyone else got this game working?

There are no errors that I can see, it's properly installed but just doesn't run!

Can any other DOSBOX users advise me on it's compatibility with 64 bit hosts? I am guessing that may be an issue.

Thanks for that. It is the 1996 version that I'm trying to run. I have ripped the files from the original cd.

It installs fine, I can set up the sound config but when I type ral.exe it loads a few lines then goes back to the C: prompt. Very strange.

Where can I find the logs for errors?

I configured the sound exactly the same as that. Have tried on both mac and windows and no luck.

Maybe my install files are corrupted or something.

I managed to get this downloaded from a site and it now works! I don't have any in game music though. Does this work for you?

Yep it is great fun - brings back lots of memories from when we got our first pc back in 96!
