You aren't getting 75MB/s, you're getting 75Mb/s. This difference between B(tye) and b(it) in this context really matters.
Getting 200Mbps from a set of AV500 adapters (however close they are) is getting into miracle territory. You'd usually expect 50Mbps-ish on a good day.
They've always worked well for me, previously had bad experiences with older adaptors but the Dlink ones I've got are rock solid and hold 25MB/s for big transfers no bother.
Okay - been home and checked out the score, ethernet is a no no im afraid too many walls to channel too many floors to lift, i have OCD and cannot have wires on show and wont turn the front of my house into a wiring frenzy zone lol .
I have decided for the wireless route - The router is less than 20 feet away and registers full signal, can somebody review the below products and let me know which extender or USB dongle will be best with my router and can they tell me the MBPS i can realistically expect?
The signal strength is at its strongest the distance i will be using it, so i don't think much loss etc. Can i stream 4K with any of the above or is it saturated?
The new network adapter has arrived and i am not completly convinced its working as it should or , maybe something i have missed setup wise?
The specs state a 1900 combined transfer rate, if you see the attached files ? can you give me an idea if everything is working even closely to what it's meant to be ?
Can you give me an idea if these are the speeds i should be expecting?
Cheers,
Ryan
