right here goes:
i have a wg102 AP setup as a bridge and another wg102 AP setup as a repeater with a Dg834g router connected (wired) to the bridge.
yes i would like to use the wireless functions of that router to connect to the bridge instead of that connecting via wired. Is that possible? AND more importantly i have a problem connecting between the workstation (im using to configure these settings) and the repeater. When i set the IP of workstation to 192.168.0.210 (default netgear config required to complete setup) i cannot connect to the repeater that i assigned the new IP address of 192.168.1.3
Configuration:
Router IP: 192.168.1.1
Bridge: 192.168.1.2
Repeater: 192.168.0.229 (default value) > i want to change to 1.3
workstation: 192.1.0.210 (default value) > i want to change to .100
Q) why can i not connect to the repeater through the workstation when i use my new assigned IPs?
Q) When i keep the bridge and router the same i seem to be able to connect but i want to change the IPs so how can i do that?
Q) How can i get rid of the wired connection between the router and the bridge and still keep the connection?
