network selection help?

hi

ive just got a new pc, and have connected my bradband virgin media ethernet cable to the pc , my question is what network type do i choose, i get options such as home/work ,public networks , do i select home/work ?

im on windows 7.

The dialogue box asking which it's to be explains it. If you're connected directly to the modem it should be public internet.
