Hi ,

what would be the best solution to connect 8 laptops together inot one external hard drive, im guesing that we could use a external storage bos but how could i connect 8 laptops to it? Would i need to connect all the laptops to a switch first then the switch to the NAS or external hard drive with ethernet port.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the laptops have WIFI then either a wireless router, wireless switch or wireless access point would do the job - connect the NAS box to whichever you have.

If they don't have WIFI then get yourself a switch yes.
