Hi,
I've just attached my old USB 2.0 external drive to my Homehub 3 in order to have it accesible to my network. The drive is used to store photo's and also for backing up two laptops.
Thing is, i'm finding transfer rates horribly slow, and also when transferring some photo's to the drive last night and organising them into their folders explorer hung a couple of times and I had to reboot my laptop (windows 7 home premium).
Is this just because it's not the ideal way to utilise network storage? Could it be the Home hub 3 (i've heard it's not the greatest, although my speeds on Infinity are fine after having it installed last week).
Should I look into NAS?
