I'm having some problems with my home network, which started after a Windows update.
My Setup:
I have 2 PC's connected using ethernet cables. I use NTL and therefore I have a modem. This modem plugs directly into PC 1.
I then have a hub which is connected to PC1 with 1 cable and then the hub is connected to PC2 with another cable.
Internet connection sharing is enabled on PC1.
Both PC's are running Windows 7.
This setup was working perfectly last night. I then updated the realtek drivers (why I'll never know) and awoke to a 2nd PC without internet.
Things I have done.
On PC 1, I noticed that after updating the Realtek Ethernet drivers, it had problems within the Device manager. I managed to fix this by downloading an automated update program from Realtek. When this was ran, it stopped the device from having that yellow exclamation mark within the Device manager window under Network Adapters.
Network and Sharing Center
This is what my network and sharing center looks like currently. I cannot remember if this is how it looked when it was originally working, or whether the 'unidentified network' is incorrect and it should show as something else.
PC2
On PC2, when it detects the Ethernet cable, it brings up the following error:
I believe that there's something incorrectly set on PC1, which is not allowing PC2 to properly see the network.
Does anybody know of a check list or a method to completely remove any current set-ups so that I can start from scratch?
Spent hours trying to sort this already and now need some more professional advice, hopefully from someone who has been through a similar situation.
My aim is to have internet connection enabled to allow PC2 to finally connect to the net again.
Thanks in advance.

It also shows as an unidentified network the same as on PC1.'Local Area Connection ' Doesn't have a valid IP configuration.
