Is there a piece of software which can give me an overall total of my current network useage. Ie if I was downloading a torrent @ 90kbps and 3 files @ 125kbps, I would like one meter which I can look at to give me a quick total? Router is connected via ethernet btw

Oh, needs to be free too!

Thanks

netstat and du meter are the best imo.
du meter isnt free is it?

Download free 30-day evaluation version of DU Meter from one of the servers listed below. If you have any problems, please e-mail us with the exact description of your difficulty.

Are any of these compatible with Vista, as DU Meter is giving me false readings.

DU Meter monitors all network activity through your computer, so if you transfer a file over the network to another computer then it'll count that as well.

EDIT

I think the only way you're going to get accurate readings on Du Meter or NetMeter is by having your computer connected directly to the internet rather than through a network.

EDIT

But Big Kev, to answer your question, PRTG Traphic Grapher will give you accurate results of the throughput of your router but it's fairly heavy on resources.
