My PC is connected to Broadband - 8mb. I've got the old PC hooked up to this 'un by Network. T'used to run off Dial-up Tiscali or smthn like that. Everything to do with Net but one thing works fine. it can go on the internet, stuff like that. The only trouble it has is when trying e-mail stuff. It downloads 'em fine, but cant send them. With dial-up they worked fine, so I'm confused. Help me please!

Still trying to send via Tiscali dialup email servers but not actually connected to Tiscali ?

At least say how I can check. I'm not very good @ networking.

Well for a start what prog are you using for email?

What we need to know is your "Outgoing SMTP server" details

The PC uses Outlook 5.50, and the outgoing SMTP server is mailhost.tinyworld.co.uk, cause it used to be a Tiny connection, but they got taken over by Tiscali.

So you're with Tiscali at the moment? Try changing it to smtp.tiscali.co.uk and give it another go.

My crystal ball didn't tell me you didn't know how to look.

It's probably going to have to be whatever ISP you're with now - who is that?
