networking a PSP to the internet

Hi,

Ive got a freind who wants to network a PSP to the Internet. They have a cable modem in their PC.

Is the easiest way to do this to buy a router or to buy a network card for the PC, bridge the LAN + Internet connections then enable ICS and put the details of ISP DNS Servers + IP of host PC in PSP as default gateway? Would the latter way work as it would with a standard PC?

The easiest way would be to buy a wireless cable router.

If you use ICS, then the computer will have to be on for the PSP to connect.

With a router you can leave it on 24/7, so you won't have the same problem.
