moved into a new house recently , wired for cat 6 everywhere and have an office in the garden also wired back to the patch panel

I’d like to have WiFi all over ( house circa 2100 sq feet over 3 floors modern construction)

At the moment I have one ubiquity uap-ac-lr wireless access point. It won’t reach the office in the garden.

Should I get one more ubiquity wap or should I get shot of it and get something like google WiFi with 3 access points ?

If getting another ubiquity I’d probably put it in the garden office and have the other one inside on the middle floor

Nothing is set up yet so open to ideas !

I'd add more UniFi APs as necessary. With three floors I'd expect to have at least two in the main house plus one for the garden office.

I've never been convinced by the LR versions. I'd use the LITE unless 3x3 MIMO is required and then use the PRO.
