Networking printers

hi
another dumbass question
i have a wired netgear network
and a wireless access point
how do i use a printer connected to the wired network (my main PC)
on my wireless laptop in the lounge
i have done the printer sharing thing and it should work (i think)
but does not
the wired network goes straight into the phone line and the wireless access point wired into the wired router
show me the way

you need to go into printers and faxes in control panel, click on add new printer,click next and then select "a network printer or printer attached to another computer", then you can either browse for printer automatically or specify its location and then when it finds it it will share the driver across onto your laptop.

should be as simple as that, just depends on the driver really.
