Networking PS3, 360 and PC.

Right, have moved my room around so now my 360 and PS3 cables no longer reach my router (Speedtouch 585v6) which is next to my PC.

I have a hub which I havent touched for a while so now have the arrangement like this, PS3 and 360 > Hub > Ethernet cable to router. The PC is plugged directly into the router.

Now my PS3 appears to be working, currently downloading the system update and its via ethernet not wireless although it is downloading very slow. But my 360 won't work, it detects the connection as being wired but won't get the ip or anything.

I haven't networked anything for a while so have completely forgotten what to do. Any help?

First thing I would ask is what speed is the hub you are using ?

Check the port on the hub that the 360 is using to see if you get an IP eg plug the cable on that port into the PC and see if you get assigned an IP and can browse.
