I love the book but I can't help feel once they've hollywood-ed it it's just going to feel like a pale copy of other films (despite the original book being the forerunner for many of those films)

Love the book but it will be difficult to film. Bit like Ready Player One in that respect. Surprised William Gibson gave permission for it to be honest.

I hear what you are saying about Holywood trashing it. The book is a classic imo.


As for ready player 1 Spielberg rarely makes a bad movie.
