Hi,

I've been given 2 older desktop pcs and was contemplating opening them up and if possible combining the best parts from each into 1.

What I want to know is how can I determine compatability between the parts etc.

Is there an idiots guide to this sort of thing?

Hi guys,

No power to one so possible a faulty psu. The 2nd one boots but has no hdmi so I'm going to get hold of a vga cable and check it out.
