Never built PC before - Spec me!

I'm new to PC's in terms of building your own and understanding the ins and outs of everything technical involved. I have a PC at the moment which I bought from a store who put it together themselves (70 pounds) and it isn't very powerful and can barely run some games on minimum spec (H1Z1)

I've saved up quite a bit of money and am looking to buy myself a new computer, I don't know if I'd be willing to build one myself as I've no experience in doing so and I don't really know where too look/ ask for advice so I've came here.

So if anyone could point me in the right direction of a decent build I'd be forever grateful

I will be mainly using this for Gaming (League of Legends, H1Z1, CS) but from time to time I'd like to use it for video editing and graphic design (After Effects, Illustrator)

OS required?

What is your budget?

OCUK build them if you and you can alter the spec if you do not feel confident to do it yourself (its not really that hard, loads of Youtube clips and advice here if you get stuck)

Thanks for reply! I have a BENQ Monitor which I'm more than happy with so this will stay. For Keyboars and Mouse I have two basic CM Storm ones which came as a bundle for like 30 pounds, they're basic and it tells so i would be looking to replace these.

And for budget anything up to £1000, I'd prefer Intel as I've AMD at the moment and it hasn't impressed me too much all though the whole build ofmy current PC cost about 300 pounds so I can't complain cause it was all cheap, Thanks!
