I read in pc gamer magazine (or pc zone i cant rember now) that jowood have desided not to patch Gothic 3 and said that the community can do it for them for free pritty much. This is perfetic. The game is totaly broken and many features dont work.

They very rarely contacted their community in telling them things happening and just abandoned us. i followed the offical forums for a long time. They never answered questions lol.

I also saw they made some really crap game which got like 20% in pc gamer. The graphics looked like 10 years old all boxy and very very plain textures. it was a flying game. They seem like a very bad company and i think ill stay clear of them now.

Does anyone else have gothic 3? a total let down. I had hopes of it being better then oblivion.

Sound like relic tbh. They just abandon their games. Coh for example, broken axis mortar damage tables, ridiculous op allied war machine, drop hacking, crappy p2p online system that you can hardly ever join a game on. Almost invincible allied infantry due to triage centre exploit, buggy vehicle pathfinding, axis veterancy causes infantry to become more vunerable to flamethrowers. And the list goes on.

Read reviews first.

By purchasing their games you're only funding their next piece of crap.

I bougth the game before there really was many reviews right at the start. I stoped playing for a year and thought. ooo ill come back to it. It was still patch 1.2 out of 1.3 patchs which came another 6 months lata i beleive and didn't fix anything other then an attempt at a memory leak bug.

As for your comment on reviews:

7.6 for game spot http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/gothic3/index.html?tag=result;title;0

One of the main sites i check on. Never again though it seems grr.

Maybe the programmers went to the same school of english you did

I don't like to say anything but I seriously hope there is a good reason for your appalling spelling mistakes...

Apart from being dislexic and having eyes that altanate randomly .Which ment it took to long to read as i kept skipping words and therefore stoped reading when i was in year 5. I get by with spelling but i dont find it easy. Yet i come top of most my classes. I see spelling as no indication of intelect as many clever people are disleixc :)

Nobody can spell on these forums anyway, my lads Junior school insisted he had an interview with a child Psychologist, turns out he is mildly dyslexic, the bonus was that after carrying out several other accademic tests he has now been placed on the national register for accademicaly gifted children. His Head Teacher (who wanted him removed from school for Rebellious behaviour :D ) had to eat a very large slice of humble pie. He is now flying in class (apart from Spanish  ) in senior school.

Good for him. I did badly at spanish to. I could speak it well but couldn't write it so i failed missribly.

All the way through primary school every teacher i had labled me dumb and useless. Till i got tested like 3 weeks before the end and then all of them had to eat their words :P
