So I had installed my 4870X2 onto my PC and ran Neverwinter Nights 2 on the PC (yeah its the only thing I have installed on the PC just now lol)

Now is it just me or does Neverwinter Nights 2 always run like crap?! I was running at 1920 by 1080 everything on High and 4xAA 8xAF I think and the game was chugging along.

Surely the 4870X2 should be able to run this no problem? The 4870 512mb I have chugs along aswell I am not sure on the FPS, but it didnt seem very high.

I am unable to give more information since my Case power switch has died and I cannot put the PC on...

(Wasnt sure where to put this either in games or GPUs)

Not sure about the game...But get a screwdriver or a paperclip etc and short the wires on the pins on the motherboard where you would plug the power switch onto. It'll then start up :)

I should try that. The wire that powers the on button inside the molex keeps slipping out of the connector so I cant plug that wire into the power supply cable.

I am also too lazy to go to the shop to find a Male Molex to Male Molex to plug into the female molex from the power button.

I decided to use this as an excuse to buy myself an Antec 900. (Like I needed one ;))

think other threads have basically said that it runs carp on pretty much any system. A few people have managed to get it running smooth but no-one seems to know how or why?

Thats what I thought the case would be. As long as Mass Effect looks and plays well I will be happy :)

From experience, Mass Effect looks a lot better and runs far smoother. NWN2 has always felt laggy whenever I've tried. The frame rate seems to go up and down for no particularly good reason (bit like NFS undercover).

I was playing Mass Effect at max settings at 1920 by 1080 around 40fps with some slowdown with explosions on my 4870. Hopefully my 4870x2 can step it up a notch.

I think NWN2 went downhill after Obsidian took over. Then again I think NWN was a bit laggy from what I remember also.
