I'm still waiting for my copy of LG NW2 (Parcelforce acting like muppets!), but I was curious about this whole map business.

I've heard that it's paper, rather than cloth, just wanted to know if anyone has bothered to complain to whoever regarding false advertising?

For the record, I'm not that bothered... however, I'm sure some of us are a little annoyed at this. I also heard that our American cousins got the cloth, bbut not us Europeans!!!!

Any thoughts would be interesting to hear.
 
The euporean releases were never stated to have cloth maps, it's the fault of many a retailer for copy n pasting specs from US stores.

Aha! That'll probably do it!!!!

Oh well, could alway trace the map onto an old tea-towel!!!!!!
 
The US version does have the cloth map and it is a "combination" of the Lawful and Chaotic packages. It does have a very thick "full" printed manual in the same finish as the artbook. (The artbook is not much of an artbook, lol) That being said, it does not come with a figurine or with NWN1 in any fashion like the version that buyers in the UK received. If you combined the two, you would get what should have been given to everyone IMO.

My NWN1 Collectors Edition plain makes the NWN2 version look like a bargain bin assortment, with all kinds of great accessories and superb packaging. I was hoping for something similar here, but I guess when dealing with Atari I was lucky to get the game at all.
 
Why on Earth do they go through all the trouble of peeing people off like that, it's obvious people wouldn't be happy with what they were getting -_-"
