Ok, as some things have cropped up in the discussion thread, this thread is being started for those who want to discuss the plot, share tips/advice or ask for help on anything that could spoil the single player campaign for those not as far into it.

Have fun :)

Ive defended the keep against the enemy and have been transported to the shadowkings lair through the book , What do i do against the black fog?

The fog are like portals run into them and you be ported then you have to clear then go to the next fog. you will soon reach the entrance to the ritual room

Hmm i thought i tried that , its like totaly blocking me :(

Thanks anyway ill give it another go

In the early part of the campaign I think I found a slight bug. When Goerg* and the militia race to the top of the hill I remembered the Wizard telling me to search his house for other goodies to help them so I wandered off to get them.

When I came back the militia were on the top of the hill and the enemy at the bottom but they didn't move and I couldn't attack them. I had to re-load the game and get the items from the Wizards house before speaking to Goerg the first time, where the mission continued as normal.

Has that just happened to me or can anyone else repeat it/"working as intended"?

* Can't remember name properly but militia leader/bloke from the Fair.

Make sure you run round every bit of the map think there are hidden triggers thats spawn mobs and turn on the fogs

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but I seem to be stuck :(

The journal says "speak to the bishop" but I can't seem to speak with him for some reason :( I seem to be able to speak to everyone else in the tavern tho.

I didn't bother speaking to him :)

Just went to the world map and went to the next town myself and it seemed to work :( can't seem to trust the journal

Did anyone else notice its really stepped up a gear in hardness in the warehouse, then in thats rich guys house (in the park)?

Seriously dying left right and more often than not, centre here.

Was level 7 entering the warehouse, now 8, and am a basic fighter, but even he and the dwarf are getting tanned.

Fire girl is good for getting two spells out before she gets tonked.

Got loads of cash, but nothing to buy either.

The trick is buffs, the game expects you to use your spellcasting characters to buff your fighters as you would in a classic D&D party. I'd suggest stoneskin and bullstrength added to your sorcerors spell list and cast regularly (I re-cast after every rest)

NWN wasn't like that first time round because you didn't have control of your henchman.

Yes the problem there matey is the mobs are rogues and any rogue that gets flanking you its big trouble. If you meet them head on ita a big no no. Like dolph said buff your toons you might have a cance head on

what i did there was to pull mobs tell my men to stand ground in a place thats not to easily flanked and let the mobs comes to me :D Doorway is a good place to stand with your dwarf right bang in the middle and the other npcs behide them.

Rest often and safe often

Its got better rather than worse.

Qara does some good damage, and protected her as much as i can, she still dies every other battle mind.

New guy joined in, but i leveled with him (had no option, orc hunting and he had to be in the group) so i was wondering do characters who arnt in the party level up (as neeksha is in the pub and she's already a lvl behind us)?

I fund that a strange one myself nesska was always 1 lvl lower than me but needed the same xp :D

When ever you pick a group after you lvled the players who you pick will be lvled up to 1-2 lvls within your range so they can dmg the mobs and not be killed to quick

That's because she's a teifling and they have a level up penalty (they are always one level behind) in exchange for racial bonuses

Someone who's done darkwood help me out.

Just spoken to a woman who sold some dust so someone could look like me to burn Ember, she asks for me to do a quest for her, but i dont know how to start it.

Been to the cave at the top, which only had werewolves and the ginger guy, however there is a rock blocking an enterance at the start of that road up, i've managed to blow the rock out of the way, but it wont let me through the door.

help!

Do you mean the woman who asks you to get the golden stone thing? (check your journal)

If you do, all you need do is go into the cave you started in :) look on the map, there is a marker that says "cave of golden stone" or similar. The Bard blokey recognizes it as his own.

Some kind of magical/relic/thing, cant remember what

I didn't start in a cave came straight from port llast, and there's no marker, certain of that.

Don't travel with the bard either, but that means nowt!

There should be a cave in the south aswell as one in the north

Sorted.

Needed to go to Ember 1st, go in the well and get the stone that way.

But thanks anyway :)
