Neverwinter Nights 2 Question

i just want to know if its any good? i got a copy ages ago with a graphics card but i never bothered to install it as i didnt like the first nwn game, i loved the baldurs gate & icewind dale games on pc so is this more like them? :confused:

the reason i havent just tried to see for myself is because of the amount of updates it wants to install

I actually prefer the first one + expansions to be honest. Plus is runs like crap even with a 4870X2 lol If you liked those games before its worth a shot.

When I first got it, I was running an X1800XT and 939 4000+ @ 3Ghz... ran like a dead dog.

Had another go with an E2160 @ 3ghz and a 8800GT 512MB and it was playable.

If your hardware is up to date, it should be fine, just keeps shadows to a minimum or off, hehe

NWN2 really isn't a patch on the first, but it's decent enough.

this is just my luck

i got myself interested in the game and decided to wait until after i installed windows 7 to try it out, i was actually looking forward to playing it and now im getting this error when i try to launch the game

is there anyone else who has this game and windows 7 that could try it out to let me know if its working for them please? :confused:
