Can anyone tell me when this is due to be released? I've pre-ordered the Lawful Good version from a certain company, however when looking on their website, the Lawful Good is showing as sold out, and with no release date.

I would imagine that it's being released the same time as the normal version... 3rd Nov.

system specs?

would it run at very high settings on this lappy?

Yeah. You would get something like 120-150fps with that kind of rig. Also if you put in an extra Graphics card, you might even get 200fps.

However, all of this is speculation... until it's released, which is what my original question was!!!!!!!!!!!

i know you're new pablo, so please read the FAQ on competitor hinting
aanyway, i truly doubt he'd break 120 FPS with that rig but it'll definately run it well :p

/edit it's a laptop, so adding an extra card could be tricky...

I appreciate I'm new Rincewind, however I did not name the comany in question, and was asking about a release date that spans not just that comany, but everyone who sells the game.

Also, I understand the fearful nature of just hinting on another company on the planet who might sell similar stuff to OcUk, but please... arn't we getting a little over zealous with this?! I was mearly explaining my situation, what I had pre-ordered, and with whom, so that others out there might be able to shed light on my question. This was in no way a poke at Ocuk or a subtle attempt at subconsious marketing for 'the other company'!

I shall attempt to get the answer from another avenue... perhaps one that isn't quite so overtly protective over the arcane nature of 'competition'.

Oh, and my system specs were an obviously misguided attempt at irony... is that covered in the FAQ? or is competition between different ironic devices within English narrative equally outlawed?

P.S. It could also be argued, that by the usually excellent content of these forums, and keen desire by those who frequent and offer assistance to those of us that are 'new', can in itself aid and strengthen the promotion of OcUK and lead to us new users purchasing from OcUk first before considering anyone else. Perhaps this aspect has been lost by your narrow view of looking out for competition hinting! I'm not even sure what the benefit of competition hinting would be on a forum like this... one that is traditionally supported by hard core Ocuk users!!!

You answered your own question. Due out on Nov 3rd as i have the same version on order from the same place. The special edition version has been sold out for weeks.

Although i cant link to or mention the place we are getting the order from, i can mention GAME and their version of the special edition. It states Nov 3rd.

Rincewind... take a look at the above quote... that's all that was required! No talk of competition hinting, no inciting revolution or poo-pooing of Ocuk. Just a friendly bit of advice that effects no-ones loyalty to Ocuk or their opnions on what is usually a great forum full of helpful, intelligent people!

Many thanks again, Melchy.
