Although he's gone downhill lately, he's been awesome for United throughout his career. Good job Gary, best of luck with whatever you do in the future :)

Wonder when the rest of the United crew will join him. (Giggs, Scholes et al)

I'm worried that Scholes may well do, Giggs has been in scintillating form in recent games though and has all but signed a new contract so he won't be going anywhere :)

If he was to be Gray's replacement, a huge huge amount of Liverpool supporters would cancel their subscription.

What an absolutely mind boggling and small minded comment to make. I am sure there are many Utd, Everton and fans of other clubs (Yes unfortunately Liverpool is not everyone's second club)who cringe when an ex Liverpool pro is on the box.

However if the pundit talks sense I am sure you can get past this as would most other reasonable fans. Take Jamie Carragher for example, a player out of the Neville mold, competent at what he did, nothing special but a 7/10 game in game out and 100% for club and country when called upon. Not my cup of tea because of who he plays for. Listen to him as a pundit or read his views on the game and I could sit there all day long because the lad talks sense and pulls no punches.

Cancel their subscription, get a grip for gods sake or does your bitterness have no limits

As long as he isnt too biased , always a danger with a pundit who very recently was a player and will still carry those passions fresh, then I dont mind him as a pundit.

Could he be any less competent as Andy Gray or dare I say it Trevor Francis !!!!!!!
