New 1070, which leads to use.

DP should do 144Hz just fine, looking at the monitor is there maybe a monitor setting preventing it? Dual link DVI should work as well.

I read that the cables had to be ver 1.2 or higher for them to display 144hz.
Was just looking on oc website and it doesn't mention this:confused:


EDIT: I meant to say, I haven't bought any DP cables yet, just wanted to make sure I got the correct ones

Any cheap decent DP cable will do. There isn't really such thing as a version 1.2 DP cable. The cable should work for past, present and future DP standards.

When getting a dvi cable, make sure it's the dual link version, have a Google to see the difference then that allows you to use 144hz. A standard dvi cable won't work otherwise.

As stated, dp should work 144hz. Get a decent dp by the way, number of people have issues of no signal when using cheaper cables.
