There's no IPS variant, but the highest rated one right now is the Viewsonic XG2401.

I absolutely love that monitor.

I am currently testing a Samsung 24" cfg70 which has a va panel. I have to say that in the 3 days that I have used it, I have been very impressed.

Other than a little purple color shift on grey surfaces which is greatly helped when increasing the black equalizer, I have no complaints.

Color, contrast and black level are the best I have seen, and strobing at 144 fps has put my desire for freesync into second place.
