Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new Monitor and wouldn't mind some advice as a relative hardware noobie. Budget max £150.
Here are my current specs:
- i5 3570K
- MSI Z77A-G43
- Radeon 7850
- Corsair 8GB
- Crucial M4 128GB
- WD Caviar Blue 500GB
- Zalman Z9+
- Corsair 600W
My current monitor is a Viewsonic VG2230WM 22" widescreen VGA connection (now discontinued). I figured it would be best to go for another 22" wide just for aesthetics but maybe this wouldnt matter? Looking at the 7850 specs, I believe it has two mini display port connectors, one HDMI and one DVI slot. If I wanted to plug both monitors (current and new) into the GPU would this be possible? If so, what monitor connections should I be thinking about (1 HDMI monitor plus 1 with VGA to DVI connection?)
