New 24" Monitor Required - Sending Back LGs

Hi Guys

Recently purchased 2 x LG 24MP55HQ's to be mounted on my desk. I'm happy-ish, but the display is a little noisy and not overly sharp.

So, I'm open to suggestions for the best bang for buck 24" monitor.

My use case is probably split 60% Work (Office) 40% gaming (Sports, FPS).

It must be VESA mount capable, and that's about it.

I'd prefer to stay clear of TN panels simply because I'm mounting them and the angles won't always be perpendicular to me.

Thoughts, and advice required quickly as I need to replace the ones I have

Budget wise, I'm looking to stay under the £500 mark for both.

Would these be worthwhile?

I'm after best bang for the buck and for some reason, whilst I currently have a BenQ, I'd rather stay clear as the bezels are ugly imo.

I'd go with this, though I'm biased as I've now got 2 at work for work, one at home for gaming. Stick it on sRGB and the colours are lovely, can stick it in 4:3 mode for old-school games that don't stretch well, very low input lag and the overdrive works well so the response times seem fine. No huge refresh rate though :'( shame.

Thanks for your input...I was thinking of giving them a go. I'll order a couple and see how we go...can always RMA
