Hi guys, am replacing my trusty HP w2007h and want a 24" screen as want a proper hd resolution. Prefer the screens with glass fronts like my HP has and it will be used mainly for fps games and general browsing and office work. Budget is flexible so fire away with your reccomendations.

I too want a new 24" screen and have researched this subject to death!
The Dell ultrasharps u2311h & 2410u seem to be the most highly rated amongst many reviewers and posters on this forum.
The 24 seems to be the Rolls Royce of the monitor world with a hefty price to match but if they really are that good then I am happy to pay for the best.
Big price difference between the 23 & the 24 - is it really worth the extra for the additional inch?

Now I hear there are new 2012 Dell screens on the horizon, so I might just sit tight and wait for some feedback on those.
Will be playing mainly BF3 on it when game launches in October so can wait for the new screens to touch down and then decide :)

What about a nice 27" monitor instead.:D

I'm looking to upgrade from 24" to 27", maybe to something like a Iiyama ProLite B2712HDS 27".

Some great 27"monitors available now.

The iiyama is a good monitor, very good stand aswell.. decent blacks and little blacklight bleed, but poor viewing angles.. I moved from my 19" 5:4 syncmaster which had near faltless viewing angles and that is my only gripe with the monitor.. the vertical viewing angles are especially poor..- just means you've got to have it at eye level and sit a decent distance from it..

Ojrules Thanks for that, maybe better to see a few 27" monitors actually working before I decide.

Is this a problem with all 27" monitors or just to that particular iiyama?

hi Beefy, just got my Hazro today and the picture is stunning,no dead pixels,no buzzing when on white background as a small number have said, shows bios no problem.my games look superb now. using a GTX480 so cant help you on the ATI,
