New 2600k upgrade and BSoD 0x0000007b

Hey guys just got a new mobo cpu a but im getting a bsod when trying to boot into windows ....just before the windows loading sceen i get a message saying no physicaldevice... Sooo do i have to format my drives? ...The drives are listed in the bios btw. Thank you

If you have done a major change and have just attached the old harddrive from a different spec PC, then this is likely the problem.

Do a complete reinstall and use the right drivers for the new gear.
