New 27" monitor - help

Hi,

I'm thinking about treating myself to a new 27" monitor but its really confusing what to upgrade to.

Currently have an Iiyama prolite E2472HD which has been great but just wondering if its worth getting a 27".

I was thinking of spending around £300 but am really confused with 144hz, IPS etc. what would you guys recommend or am I best sticking with the iiyama for the time being?

I tend not to play too many games these days but do enjoy stuff like WoT, D3, Civ and I'm tempted to pick Elite up once it comes down in price. I tend not to play FPS any more as I tend to feel a bit sick due to the movement although I have heard 144hz helps reduce this, which I'm not sure about?

My PC specs are Intel I5 3570k, 8gb RAM, AMD 7800 Gfx card.
