Size-wise I'm unsure whether to go for 28" or 32". I'd been veering towards the larger display but I'm wondering if the smaller more pixel dense model might look better especially on MacOS if I need to use any kind of scaling. Plus a 28" monitor would proabably still look reasonable at "looks like 1080p" whereas the 32" would definitely look too large as that equivalent setting. Actually measuring up my desk I think the 28” might be a better fit though there’s not much in it.

Also, unsure whether to go for IPS or spend a bit more to get an OLED monitor? Ideally I'd like a monitor with built-in speakers but I guess I could always get some USB powered ones that connect via a 3.5mm jack at a push. I don't do much gaming on my PC/Mac (as I have the PS5 for that) so more concerned with image quality than fast refresh rates.

Coating-wise I'd prefer a glossy/semi-glossy panel as I'm not a fan of heavier anti-glare coatings and the room I normally sit in makes it easy to avoid direct sunlight/glare.

I'd looked at stuff like the :-

Gigabyte 28" M28U

Gigabyte 32" M32U

Samsung 32" G80SD OLED

MSI 32" MPG 321URX OLED

Any recommendations between them or other models I should be looking at?

Your thoughts would be appreciated!
