Hi there

Please help, I'm in the market for a new 32 inch HD ready TV...But there's so much choice, my requirements for this TV are as follows:

- XBOX360 gaming
- Running WindowsXP MCE box on it so need high quality dislplay res, so will need to run this over DVI not VGA
- SKY (will get HD in the future when it's cheaper)
- Built in freeview

I've heard the Toshiba WLT58 is good and numerous others, could someone suggest an excellent quality TV in the £900 - approx £1300 range?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Well if your going to buy in store expect to pay a few hundred over the odds. I got mine for £859 online, although the place i got it from has now dropped it to £849 which is an unbelievable price and includes delivery!!

is the 32LP1D worth going for over the 32LX2R?

Yes if you want freeview/card-reader and the same basic high quality panel :) But it seems a big difference for just those 2 bonuses, cheapest i can find online is £1199 delivered. Considering the cheapness of standalone freeview boxes and the multitude of connects the 32LX2R has you'd be better off getting a standalone freeview with the LX2R.

was trying to compare the two last night....seems the 32LP1D has a few more features, but like you say, may be due to the freeview with it.

The computer company based in Evesham have just released a 32" TFT with all the gear in for £750 apparently, don't know if its any good though
