New 3870 - 3D MARK 06 HANGS

Just installed a Sapphire 3870 - all fine but when I try and run 3D MARK 06 it just stays on the splash screen.

Open task manager and it says - NOT RESPONDING

Any ideas?

Works ok in Crysis, COD 4, Flight Sim x

AS your box is overclocked locked your pci bus

also try dropping the fsb a bit ?

You'll probably need that hotfix, the 2900's used to do it.

Yep, either the hotfix, or just delete/rename c:\windows\system32\futuremark\msc\direcpll.dll.

Yeah you need the hotfix, its something to do with those cards having 2x clock speeds, 1x for 3D, and 1x for 2D, you used to have rename or delete a .dll file before, but now they've released a hotfix.
