Hi Guys,

Would someone cast there eyes over the below build just to check my sanity and confirm its all compatible?

Also could someone suggest a CPU Cooler which will work in this case and maybe an alternative/better ram that won't have clearance issues with the cooler?

What budget for the cooler? That RAM is low profile so fine in that respect. But you could get 2133-2400MHz RAM if the price is around the same.

Why 2 x 250GB SSD's?

It depends on the graphics card. Which do you have in mind, or what would you be willing to spend on one?

Also take into account that the Zalman Z12 Plus takes cards up to 290mm long. Some cards today exceed that. You can usually find plenty of alternatives but it will restrict options slightly.

Out of the PSU's you specced, the 550W SuperFlower is the best choice.

Should have mentioned that, not really got a budget but im looking for a half decent air cooler. I seem to remember some fairly good ones for around £20/£25.

2 SSD's is an oversight on my part, should only be one.

Not got an idea of which particular card I will be looking at, but probably sub £150. Maybe the R7 300 series?

I did like the look of the superflower, I hear good things about the brand and its only a few quid more!

For power supply look at the HX series from Super Flower (i have't read any reviews on the FX series yet, but the HX seem very good)
Also look for EVGA's SuperNova series.

as for the air cooler there are a few choices around that price from Prolimatech, Arctic Cooling and Raijintek (ereboss i think i a pretty good one)

Just buy yourself a decent psu now. It will save swapping it out at a later date. Quality units are well under £80 so there is no excuse to skimp on one.

Both Antecs are Seasonic built and not modular while the EVGA GS 650w is Seasonic built and fully modular and the EVGA G2 650w is Superflower built, fully modular and has a 7 year warranty. All the other's have a 5 year warranty.

YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA Supernova G2 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £74.99
1 x EVGA Supernova GS 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £69.95
1 x Antec TruePower Classic 650w '80 Plus Gold' Power Supply £68.99
1 x Antec TruePower Classic 550w '80 Plus Gold' Power Supply £59.99

Great, cheers guys.

Question about faster ram, would I benefit more from faster ram or more of it? and does it have to be on the Asus "Qualified Vendor List" in order to work with this board?

Does any have an recommendations for a air cooler in the sub £30 category?

What about
YOUR BASKET
1 x Alpenfohn Ben Nevis CPU Cooler - 120mm £19.99
Total : £19.99 (includes shipping : Ex.VAT).

Has anyone used this product before?
