I cant believe how backwards this is. I noticed in youtube I only had the option to play a video at 1080p so I had to dig around to find out that Microsoft edge was at fault. I had to do this...
Write about:flags on the address line and find "Enable VP9 video format" and set it to always on. Restart browser.
How dumb is that? Now I get the option of running in 4k.
Only problem now is it buffers like a bitch. Yet my TV is fine.
