Hi,

My new chip should arrive this afternoon.
I am on Windows 11, can I just remove my old 3700X and seat the new chip = without doing a fresh install?
Could I just reset all Windows settings and will it work ok?

My bios is already updated enough to take the new chip, but I will update it to the newest version anyway.

New CPU in more or less hassle free.
Cooling via an Alphacool 360AIO - was a bit tricky getting it seated, the back plate had moved slightly when I removed the 3700X and scared me slightly with a loud click as it dropped back into place as I was tightening the screws....thought I had damaged something at first but all is well

I have reset the bios, are there any particular settings that I need to tweak to release the full power of this chip?

Bit of a strange one with PBO2 as I am struggling to get it to load the -30 on startup.
Windows 11 - PBO2 is listed in startup - I have added in the -30 x8 times
I have triple checked everything and all looks set up ok.
Any ideas = could it be something in W11 stopping it?

Sorry, I don't quite follow?
I am not trying to use task scheduler.
I have created a shortcut and have added the -30 (8 times) at the end of the target line path.
Still does not work?

If I manually run the shortcut from the startup folder = it works.
But does not auto-run at startup?

Yes, that is what I have been following, however it still does not load on startup.
If I manually run the shortcut from the startup folder it works fine.

Exactly the same for me, I am also on Windows 11
Has to be W11 related surely?
Not sure why the instruction is not working, as it works fine when run manually?

Think I have found the problem.
Windows 11 is booting directly from the PBO2 tuner.exe file and not the UNDERVOLT shortcut in the startup folder.

A bit baffling, no matter what I do it simply will not do it automatically from the startup folder.
Going to leave it for tonight and retry with a fresh head lol

Still could not get the undervolt to work from the startup folder in W11......so did it the long way with Task Scheduler = working ok now.
Strange action with W11 maybe?
