Hi,

My new chip should arrive this afternoon.
I am on Windows 11, can I just remove my old 3700X and seat the new chip = without doing a fresh install?
Could I just reset all Windows settings and will it work ok?

Thanks

Thanks all.
New CPU in more or less hassle free.
Cooling via an Alphacool 360AIO - was a bit tricky getting it seated, the back plate had moved slightly when I removed the 3700X and scared me slightly with a loud click as it dropped back into place as I was tightening the screws....thought I had damaged something at first but all is well :)

I have reset the bios, are there any particular settings that I need to tweak to release the full power of this chip?

Bit of a strange one with PBO2 as I am struggling to get it to load the -30 on startup.
Windows 11 - PBO2 is listed in startup - I have added in the -30 x8 times
I have triple checked everything and all looks set up ok.
Any ideas = could it be something in W11 stopping it?

Sorry, I don't quite follow?
I am not trying to use task scheduler.
I have created a shortcut and have added the -30 (8 times) at the end of the target line path.
Still does not work?
