Just upgraded to the msi lightning 770 from a 480gtx. Will I need to manually remove the old 480 drivers before installing the new ones? Ive just turned the machine on for the first time after installing the new card and its running as though no graphics drivers are installed yet. The reason I ask is i'm sure I read a thread a couple of weeks ago where a member said if your upgrading from an nvidia card to another nvidia card the drivers wont clash :S.

They shouldn't but i would deffo uninstall them, insert new card, install drivers.

I had this recently (upgraded from GTX 570 to GTX 670) all i did was install the new card.. and it installed the driver for me on start up, Easy.

All you have to do is install card look for 770 drivers install do custom install then clean install. That's it.
