New 7970 just plug and play?

So i have the AMD 4890 installed, do i need to do some sort of drivers wipe and then install new drivers...

I was actually thkning of formatting windows and doing a clean install of steam and everything. Whats the best way to format an SSD out of interest?

[got the gigabyte windforce delivered today, cant wait to get home and put it in!]

You don't need to reformat.

1) Uninstall the drivers then reboot.
2) Then uninstall the Windows drivers (in Device Manager) upon rebooting and then shut down.
3) Install new card
4) Install latest drivers.
