new 7970s install but error on sound

Ever since I installed my 7970s xfire I have random sound cutt off, only during gaming though.

in order to re-start the sound I have to re-start my PC

I mean no sound at all, not from movies I play or you tube, all sound is gone!#

I really dont know why this happens, this is when I play any game, after 10 or 20 minutes the sound just cuts off!

Has anyone heard of this or know a fix? I m really getting fustrated now, and this only happened as soon as I installed the new gpu's

Is it the cards or somthing else?

Afaik, there is Hdmi sound issues for some users, I don't use it with mine but it could be something to look up if that's how your sound is output.

You see, I dont use the hdmi function on my cards, just use the dvi function, on this card when I go to CCC there is an audio option, i didnt have that with my 5970, do u think its a faulty card?

I havnt changed the settings its on default, but wondering if i need to do anything.
