New 802.11n Modem/Router please

Ok help me out here please people,

I know nothing about Modem/Routers, i have never had one but i now have two computers and i need to know what one to buy, what one is the best one.

I need to buy a 802.11n Modem/Router because of the range that i have here in this building, i also need to be able to game on it in the evenings, and just the web in the day, as i am at work like now.

Thanks for any help I have been reading reviews on the net but I don’t seem to get anywhere to which one to buy.

I would look at the D-Link range I've got the cable variant DIR-635 which is 802.11n and it works a treat.

I can also vouch for the D-Link 802.11n routers, i have the DIR-655 and all i can say is, fantastic.
