It will have 32 TMU units and most likely 24 ROP's (if that one set ain't disabled for some reason). In that case this card would have 6,2% higher texel & pixel fillrate compared to 8800 Ultra. ALU-performance would be 8,3% higher than in 8800 Ultra
----

Compared to 8800 GT this cards texel fillrate is 23,8% higher, pixel filrate 62,5% higher. ALU-performance would also increase 23,8%

Saw the above link on vr-zone. Dunno if it has already been posted but there ya go. Some say 4 December is release date.

EDIT:

From the new 8800GTS pic we can prove that: the new G92 already integrate NVIO chip into the GPU. the old version stock cooler will not fit G92 anymore.

Then what about the new G92 version 8800GTS? Of course the G92 version 8800GTS still have 256bit memory interface, so they got 512MB and 1024MB two version. The date and the MSRP will be Dec. 3 and 2299CNY ( 308USD ) .

So, we got five different version of 8800GTS totally:

8800GTS G80 90纳米 96SP 320bit 320MB ( Integrated VP1 engine)

8800GTS G80 90纳米 96SP 320bit 640MB ( Integrated VP1 engine)

8800GTS G80 90纳米 112SP 320bit 640MB (Integrated VP2 engine) ( Nov. 19)

8800GTS G92 65纳米 128SP 256bit 512MB(Integrated VP2 engine)(Dec. 3)

8800GTS G92 65纳米 128SP 256bit 1024MB(Integrated VP2 engine)(Dec. 3)

Nvidia won’t launch Geforce 8800 GTS 512 cards based on G92 on the 3rd or 4th of December as many implied. The new date is the middle of the month, between 12th and 14th.

Ye I saw that to, I'm pretty interested in these cards. Might actually buy these over the GT. Here in Holland the GT's from Club3D and Asus are 143 Pounds inc. vat so that's already pretty good but if these are that much faster I'll buy one of them.

Seems like December 3rd is indeed the release, another news message on vr-zone confirms this.

*G92
*128SP
*Core : 650MHz,SP : 1625MHz
*256bit memory bus width
*GDDR3 @ 970MHz(effective 1940MHz)
*New black dual slot cooler
*Price : US$299~349
*Dec 3rd launch

so it seems it has a dual slot cooling , unlike the GT. :)

think they will probably not release the 9xxx series this year, could be wrong though.

seems like we are getting a 1024 mb version! :) and the 19th only a redone version of the G80.

Really to bad we don't have official announcements of the release dates. I hope we hear something today about "new" 640mb version and maybe some info about the 3december releases. Guess we have to hope for the best and wait.

I really don't get why NVIDIA just don't put press releases out to say when these cards come out, it will save so much drama...

What to do now... buy a GT or wait till mid december? :S But still... is that mid december source reliable enough...?

Yes lol, why don't they just make a 8850 or 8900, sigh.... Everyone confused, people buying old cards when they want the "new" one. I can see it happening :D

I've just noticed 512MB GTS popping up here in shops in The Netherlands, around the 315 - 330 euro mark from PNY, Asus and XFX, not in stock btw but a shipping time of 1 to 10 workdays :o ;) For me that's to expensive over the GT's for the performance you get from them I guess.
