cool I can fianally think about PCI-E sound card to slot in there as well then, have read on these forums the x-fi is out in pci-e soon.

Can't wait as i really miss my pci x-fi card

i believe it uses a fair bit less power then the X1900XT and that worked in my shuttle, until it almost killed it. but i think it was just topping out the PSU, so you should be ok.

have read elsewhere that they are incompatible with the motherboard, has anyone tried the radeon 3000 series yet?
