Hi all,

New Aego 3 Soundbar and 2.1 Speakers are landing in July. They are available to pre-order now.

These are so good my colleagues and I were blown away. They have used superior materials and design to maximise the quality that comes out of these beauties. These are great for audiophiles who want this to upgrade their TV or soundsystem, gamers who want the next level in sound quality or you have just moved out of your parents and have £200 quid kicking around and want to annoy the hell out of your new neighbours....

They look great and work great and I had guessed an RRP of £250 before they gave me the real RRP so I think they are great value for money.

I am very interested in these, no reviews anywhere yet though. I am looking for speakers with amazing sound quality and great bass for music...

What is the Watts of each speaker please? I know the subwoofer is 65 but what about the other two?

I have been waiting to hear these speakers for some time and they do not disappoint. We had a little demo of the sound bar and sub and the quality of the sound is worth the upgrade. We have been using the AEGO M speakers a lot here so we did not expect there to be much of a difference between them and it just be design tweaks.

The little details that have gone into the design of the speakers to improve the sound is noticeable and the way the front of the speakers are lifted to allow the sound to travel up towards your ears makes it that little bit more enjoyable.

This is a set of speakers that I definitely recommend.

Asked the question of Aego for you:-

"The Aego complete system power is 65 Watts RMS (Class A/B) - This is shared between the Sub and two satellite drivers and is variable depending on volume as the system uses active EQ, the most the satellites will use is around 10-15 Watts each.

It's hard to quantify that into power because it doesn't sound like much but the sub only has one 6" driver with an 8" oval passive radiator, cutting off around 50Hz so doesn't actually need much power, the satellites use very small 2" oval drivers so don't require much power to get moving either. Part of the benefit of being truly active (rather than powered passive like most systems) is that there is precise control of the frequency range and no loss of power through a passive crossover - this means you need less watts to control the drivers and get less distortion at higher volumes, the drivers reach their physical limit before the amp does.

For pretty much all general use the system will go plenty loud enough in the home."

I had the Aego Ms a few years ago and the quality was outstanding!

Looking at getting some speakers soon, and I don't think I'll be looking anywhere else!

Thank you very much.

How do these rate in comparison to other high end speakers for PC? Are they the best available or are they regarded as in the very top three for example or something along those lines?

I am 95% sure I will be getting these from yourselves :)

So what's the difference between having the soundbar version and the 2.1?

Is it just a case of the soundbar being two speakers together attached under your monitor or is it more than that?

Very nice indeed - may be tempted to upgrade my existing set for these - they certainly look better than the current offering, and if performance is better then a win/win.

Hi guys, sorry for the wait - been off for two weeks.

No difference between the two. It just gives you more options when it comes to how you can use them.

Cool, might well be time to chop my Aego Ms in for a soundbar version then.

Does the soundbar have a clip for attaching to a monitor then, and is it a universal jobby?
