Also i hear Honda weren't keen because the Elise would eat into S2000 sales. Shame.
Where did you hear that then?

There was a rather nice Exige S1 at the MPH show today, payed 9K for a K20 engine swap, i wonder, why do that, when the toyota engine is better.

Lol what????S1 Exige had the Toyota engine, you're confusing it with the S1 Elise.

Lol what????
The original Exige (NA or naturally aspirated Exige) was launched in 2000 and had a 1.8 L Rover K Series engine in VHPD (Very High Performance Derivative) tune.
I also like the S2000, especially the noise it makes, but damn, interior luxury is nonexistant!
350z trumps all 3 then?
just saw this and forgot to LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
continue.

Which part are you laughing at?![]()

I thought you were hillariously suggesting a 350z was better than an s2000... I'd risk saying its the worst of the 4 (RX8, S2000, Celica 190)
Sadly I don't have the S2000 anymore, boring old focus !

Slightly biased I know but hey
Go for the 190 for sure, and stick a charger in it. Sorted. Mines a TRD model but all in all its pretty much the same engine as a 190. Apart from the charger
Its fun. I was stuck between the exact same choice and was put off mainly by the rx8's ****le engine flooding on small journeys, which when you live less than 2 miles from work, could become an expensive problem
Also, the rx8 road tax is steep on the later reg models. At least I think it is. Worth checking
