New Ageia drivers plus UT3 PPU downloadable maps

None at all. I would love to see a CPU rendering the same stuff as a PPU so we can do a fair comparison. Right now it’s hard to do fair comparison as there are no games with good benchmarking options that run all the PPU effects on the CPU.
 
id like to see it too. Currently i cant see the ppu as a worth while investments but if they start oputting it on the cpu they will also start making more games for ppu and im sure the ppus will still stay around as an upgrade when games start taxing the cpu to much as well.
 
The maps work fine without a PPU, it even says so in the download readme. Maybe I'll take out one of my 8800 Ultras and stick my Physx card back in to do some testing later tonight.

Just tried it without the Physx card and performance really does start to chug when things get going. Normally I dont see anything less than 50fps @2560x1600 full details but I'm getting consistent frame rates of 20-30 in these levels.

Edit #2 : Not sure if it's just without the PhysX card atm but loading times for these levels are huge, each level takes at least 60s before I'm in game as opposed to the normal levels which are done in less than 5s.
