My 9500 pro has decided its time to retire so its upgrade time. I don't want to spend too much as I don't play a lot of games anymore. I've narrowed it down to two cards:

Sapphire X1650 Pro AGP 256MB

or

PNY Verto GeForce 7 7600GS AGP 256MB

Which one should I go for? I open to suggestions on other cards if something better is availale. My max budget is £90.

Thanks in advance.

7600GT, better than the X1650 XT in most benchmarks/games I believe.
Its actually the other way arround.
The X1650XT is quicker than the 7600GT in most games, due to its 256bit bus (the 7600GT only has a 128 bit bus).

Yeah x1650 XT is quicker, i was thinking of an x1600 for some reason. :o

Eh wtf, he said x1650 pro in the opening post, in which case i was right, the 7600 GT is faster, man im going back to bed. :D

No point if he's not playing games.

So whats the point in people recomending 7600GT's/X1650XT's and posting benchmarks of games supporting their decisions?

A 128MB 6200 for around £30 or a 256MB 7300GT for around £50 should be more than enough for everything non gaming related.
