New "Airjet" cooling tech...sounds too good to me.

It's all about laptops, but it's claimed that the tech is scalable and could be used on higher power processors. The "can double performance" thing is for grabbing attention, the claim being that it's so much more effective at cooling than normal laptop cooling that laptop CPUs can remain in the highest possible boost state indefinitely. Which might be as much as double the clock speed in a badly cooled laptop, maybe one with the air intake mostly blocked. Allegedly, working prototypes exist in an advanced stage, significant development has already occurred, extensive testing has already been done and the product will be on the market in less than a year. 1750 Pa at 24 dBA from a cooler 2.8mm thick.

Not exactly forthcoming with the beans are they. But I think they said enough, vibrating membranes in a very flat package powered electrically.

Vibrating membranes with holes in them have been a thing for a long time. You can buy piezo atomisers which are basically a small vibrating disk that vapourises liquid into a plume on the other side for trivial cost these days. Used for all kinds of things.

Not heard of it being used to pump air before but I guess some method of enforcing a one way flow will allow the vibrating membrane to pump air.

Pressure is probably true, volume is probably garbage.
