Yup you can connect it to an Ethernet Router via the Wan port and your network via the other.

Yup you can connect it to an Ethernet Router via the Wan port and your network via the other.
My current 'wifi botch' is running a cat6e lead into the bedroom, into the airport express (old version, but N) and using that as a wifi access point for the apple TV and other devices to get onto. I guess with this I'd use the 'router' port to go back to the Time Capsule in the lounge, and I could plug the Apple TV into the other ethernet port on the new style airport express, and then also have dual band loveliness?
